The Rotary Club of Grand Island will again be running its annual UNDIE SUNDAY community project Feb 20-27.  They have been running this service project for over 20 years.

Once again, we at Island Ship Center are honored and proud to be a donation location for this worthwhile cause.

Here is a message from the club: “We seek the basic needs of new and unused underclothing and socks for less fortunate and homeless men, women and children. These items provide personal dignity, comfort and warmth and so much appreciated by them.  They are in particular need of warm socks of all sizes; men’s underwear sizes Large, Extra Large and XX Large and all women’s undergarments.”

The donated items will be distributed to the Community Mission of Niagara Falls and Buffalo United Afghan Evacuees Welcome Kits and Buffalo City Mission

Between Feb 20-27 we encourage everyone to place packages of new underclothing and socks in the hamper located at our store.  Rotarians will pick them up at convenient times during this upcoming week.

With incessant gratitude and resilient optimism,

Fahim and Seema Mojawalla, Co-Owners
