Use our location as your US street address! No membership fees! Island Ship Center is located seven minutes from Niagara Falls, USA and is easily accessible from both the Rainbow Bridge and the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge.
Parcel Holding to the United States – How it Works
We require a signed contract provided through Docusign for this service. Please contact us to receive a contract prior to shipping.
Once your parcel ships, email your tracking number to us at shop@islandshipcenter.com. We will use your tracking number to look for your package.
When your package arrives, we’ll send you an email and you can come to Island Ship Center to pick it up.
We will hold each of your parcels for up to two weeks in our secure location. After one week, we will continue to charge the weekly fee (depending on size and weight) per week for each package until it is picked up. [For example, If your package is held for eight days, then the charge will be $15 (or $25 or $50 depending on size and weight) to pick up and weekends (including Sundays) count when calculating our pickup charge.]
Please note that we cannot accept packages via USPS except for our mailbox clients. We require USPS Form 1583 on file in order to accept mail or parcels delivered from the US Postal Service; in order to do that, you must have a private mailbox set up with us. To setup a mailbox with us, see here.

Charges for Parcel Delivery and Hold
In order to take advantage of this service, we require a valid credit card and a government issued photo ID securely on file with us. Please call us at 716-773-6300 with your credit card information before having your first package (or pallet) shipped for delivery to our location.
Up to 30 pounds – US $7.50 per parcel per week [Dimensional weight formula will apply when calculating the weight; so, if your package is larger than 30 lbs using dimensional weight formula for both FedEx and UPS, which is: (Length x Width x Height) / 164; meaning you multiply the package’s length, width, and height in inches, then divide the total by 164 to get the dimensional weight in pounds. Between 30 – 69 pounds – US $12.50 per parcel per week [Must be delivered by a small parcel truck, like FedEx or UPS. Any package delivered via LTL truck delivery is considered a pallet shipment and will incur charges outlined below.] Additional fees apply after first two weeks.
Between 75 – 150 pounds – US $25.00 per parcel per week [Must be delivered by a small parcel truck, like FedEx or UPS. Any package delivered via LTL truck delivery is considered a pallet shipment and will incur charges outlined below.] Additional fees apply after first two weeks.
Palletized Shipments – Must have a lift gate for delivery and we must be notified before arrival. $150 initial receiving fee for the first week, plus $75 for each additional week held.

We are conveniently located at Grand Island Town Center. If you’re coming from Niagara Falls, make a left on the Whitehaven Road exit from the I-190 and drive straight for a half mile. We can receive packages, hold them, and then ship them cross-border for our Canadian clients.

I found this place by chance, desperate to find a shipping location for UPS. They are the kindest, friendliest, and very efficient. I use them for shipping out and to have parcels shipped to. They send an email when package is received. Could not ask for a better location to ship to or from. They will hold package, as I am international shipper.. Thank you so much.. Working with the ship center to create my wedding invites, pre addressed envelopes, and the stickers that would lay on top of the water color painted seating chart made by my mom was so special. From each time I walked through their doors I felt welcomed in and heard and each idea I had was brought to life in such a perfect way every detail down to the font and spacing of addresses printed on the envelopes was done with precision thank you to everyone at the ship center that played a role in honoring all my requests!
The folks at Island Ship Center provide excellent customer service. My family and I have been using their “virtual mail” service for the past year, and it has proved to be very convenient when we travel. I would leave 10 stars if I could. I have been shipping with Fahim/Seema and the rest of the great staff here for years now. I recently ran into an issue with UPS where they did the pick up earlier in the day, Fahim was able to locate where I could bring the package to that day to be able so that I get it where it needed to go. This is just one of the countless great customer service experiences I’ve had at this business. They are the most friendly business that I know and I always enjoy my trips to the store and being greeted with a smile. Thanks for everything you guys do!
