Carefully packing & shipping a lava lamp to California, with regard to preserving its history & memory.

Original lava lamps from the 1970’s are hard to find these days. So, when one of our clients brought it in a few weeks ago, my wife & I were awed and delighted. Marie, our client, wanted to safely have it packed and shipped to her daughter in California, thus restoring childhood memories from GI.

We were honored to safely complete the task and enjoyed marveling at the piece as well!

Once the lamp arrived, Marie sent me a kind email, along with pictures.

“FYI, my daughter finally turned on the Lava light and it seems to be working as well as it did forty years ago. Enjoy the photos.  Thank you again for all the care you took in shipping it to CA.”
