#ShopLocal this Father’s Day – We have unique gifts and so do other local Grand Island Businesses

Did you know that small businesses make up almost 90% of the business economy in the US? We contribute almost 50% to the overall health of the nation and yet, we find ourselves constantly reminding our clients to shop small, shop local and help out the small businesses.

So, here’s another reminder: this Father’s Day, make sure to shop the local businesses in our beautiful neighborhood.

Give dad a gift certificate to Dana’s Stylin Pets if he’s a pet lover, some flowers from from Sue at Flower a Day (I’m a dad and I love flowers BTW), treat him to a pizza dinner at Pizza Amore or a framed painting at Linda’s from Eddie’s Art Shoppe. Go out with him to the Island Fun Center and spend some quality time. How about a car or truck wash from Dr Huggs? You can also find great unique gifts for dad at Pam’s gift shop or perhaps even a massage treatment for him at Soma Cura Wellness Center.

And of course, we at the Island Ship Center have our own unique collection of Father’s day gifts, complete with gift boxes and fun, including (but not limited to) leather wallets that can be engraved with his name, beach towels, sports umbrellas, golf tees and golf club covers.
