Most everyone in Western New York is familiar with the incredibly popular THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride put on by the Medina Railroad Museum. The unforgettable experience on the train is an hour of pure delight for children and adults of all ages. This year, the encounter welcomed 28,000 passengers in just 11 days and is one of only three officially licensed POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Rides in all of New York State.
Last week, Island Ship Center was contacted by the museum with an express need for a significant amount of golden tickets to be produced for the train after arrangements they had previously made with another printer fell through at the last minute. We were thrilled to help! Building community, meeting the need, and providing solutions for our friends and neighbors is exactly what we do best.
Within hours, we began printing for the museum. The staff was thrilled–both ours to have the honor of such a task, and the museum’s for our fast resolution to their conundrum and high quality work, provided with excellence…because we don’t know any other way.
What a delight to work with the Medina Railroad Museum, and what a privilege to provide a printing solution that allowed thousands of smiles to be facilitated by the train’s operators, cast, and crew.
We look forward to taking the train ourselves soon, and hear that plans for next year’s theme couldn’t be bigger, bolder, or more thrilling. Choo choo!
Next stop: The North Pole.
