We don’t just say that we go above and beyond for our guests. We prove it.
At the end of June, our dear client Robin contacted us. She was out of town in Colorado for her daughter’s softball tournament, but her daughter’s softball team’s uniforms hadn’t arrived yet from where they were shipped in Georgia. The shipper had gone to The UPS Store to send them from Georgia to Colorado, but when Robin called that business she was very displeased by “how unhelpful” they were and the information they gave her didn’t have any tracking data or any way to explain what had happened to the shipment or when it would arrive.
To be fair, we do work with plenty of wonderful The UPS Stores, but because they’re independent franchises sometimes helpfulness can vary between locations. So, we don’t want to disparage the whole franchise in this story, but simply want to note that this particular location wasn’t up to our standards or helpful in the way that we believe 21st century relationship-based business should be done.
Robin emailed us with her conundrum. Could we help find the missing uniforms? We told her that we’d do our best, even though it wasn’t our shipment or anything that was sent from our location.
Because we’re a UPS Authorized Shipping Outlet and have great relationships with contacts at UPS, we took the information that Robin gave us and were able to track down the shipment. We quickly emailed Robin back with updated tracking information showing that the shipment wasn’t lost and was now accounted for in the UPS tracking system, on target to arrive in Colorado in time to have the uniforms ready for the important tournament. Robin was thrilled and we were so glad to have been able to help.
It’s our pleasure to serve our community, guests, clients, friends, and neighbors…even if it means helping find a shipment that we didn’t send from our location. We are grateful for Robin’s trust in us and look forward to being there for her for years to come with any shipping question that may arise.
